Introstem is a skincare brand that specializes in producing cutting-edge cosmetics that have been infused with grape stem cells. This instantly sets the brand apart from its competition, with grape stem cells renowned for how they efficiently tackle the appearance of skin aging and damage.
I first used the brand a couple of years ago and, since then, Introstem has regularly featured in my skincare routine. So, you can imagine my excitement when I realized that the brand had a new collection that I hadn’t yet tried; the Aqua Collection. Would these products live up to the hype and reputation that surrounds this prestigious brand? Keep reading to find out exactly what I thought about them.
What is the Introstem Aqua Collection?
The Introstem Aqua Collection currently consists of three products:
- Aqua Age Reforming Alpha Solution
- Aqua Age Reforming Beta Solution
- The Aqua Face and Neck Cream
While each one is unique in its own right, the trio does also share a couple of similarities, with the main one being its hydrating capabilities. As you can tell from the ‘aqua’ in this collection’s name, one of its focuses is on boosting the skin’s moisture levels. At the same time, each of these products also works to diminish the look of aging while plumping up and smoothing out the complexion to restore a youthful glow.
Sounds good, right? Let’s find out if the Aqua Collection actually holds up to these promises…
The Aqua Age Reforming Alpha Solution
Let’s start with the Aqua Age Reforming Alpha Solution. It has been designed to instantly smooth away the appearance of surface wrinkles around the mouth, nose, and eyes. The product, which takes the form of a rich serum, is contained in an unusual tube with a specialized applicator that enables you to use the product without contaminating it with oxygen or light. This is very important in terms of retaining the potency of active ingredients. It’s heartening to see that Introstem has put a great deal of thought into this.
I have to admit being very surprised after using this product for the first time. My hopes were high, partly because of this product’s high price tag, yet it managed to exceed my expectations. I applied it directly to the wrinkles that had recently appeared around my mouth. In just a few seconds, they were barely visible anymore.
A little digging into how this product works taught me that its efficacy is down to a selection of high-performance ingredients. There are a few compounds in this product that are renowned for their fast-acting capabilities, including acetyl hexapeptide-8, sodium hyaluronate, alpha-hydroxy acids, and DMAE. It’s a one-of-a-kind formula that truly works magic on my complexion!
The Aqua Age Reforming Beta Solution
At first glance, the Introstem Aqua Age Reforming Beta Solution looks very similar to the Alpha Solution, only in darker packaging. However, while the Alpha Solution was all about reducing the appearance of wrinkles, this one turns its attention to brightening a dull complexion while fading the look of sun damage and other forms of discoloration.
I was tempted to slather this solution all over my face but, in the interests of fair testing, I focused it on the tiny dark spots that had started to appear around my eyes. They’re down to sun damage and although many products have helped to make them look lighter, they’ve never completely disappeared.
This Introstem solution, however, managed to succeed where others have failed. Granted, the way in which it immediately masks the visibility of discoloration is only temporary. However, after using this product regularly for a few months, I can most certainly attest to its long-term benefits. It has completely diminished the appearance of three out of four of my dark spots. Meanwhile, that last stubborn dark mark looks noticeably lighter. I’m confident that, in a matter of weeks, it will look invisible too.
Again, this is down to the thoughtful formula that Introstem has conceived. This product is packed with proven ingredients that quickly lighten and brighten the look of the skin. These are backed up by powerful vitamins and antioxidants that, over time, work to enhance and prolong the temporary way in which this product evens out and revives the complexion.

Last but not least, let’s talk about the Introstem Aqua Face and Neck Cream. With my skin type being dry, this cream immediately stood out to me. Its ingredient list promises a sumptuous blend of moisturizing agents, including shea butter, sweet almond oil, and jojoba seed oil.
With this in mind, you would imagine this cream to be pretty thick in texture. However, I was surprised to find that it actually feels pretty silky. It’s rich but not overly so. It beautifully moisturizes my skin, to the point where my skin feels unbelievably soft when I touch it. However, it doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind, which is always appreciated!
Of course, plant butters and oils alone aren’t enough to warrant this product’s price tag. Fortunately, there are several other advanced ingredients in this blend that help to justify that. Grape stem cells, peptides, sodium hyaluronate, vitamins, and a range of antioxidant-rich botanical extracts can be found in this moisturizer too. This gives it the ability to boost the complexion in a few different ways. In addition to hydrating and moisturizing, it also brightens, smooths, and firms the look of the skin. I started to notice this effect a couple of weeks after adding this product to my skincare routine. This cemented its standing as my go-to face cream.
Final Thoughts
So far, from my personal experiences with Introstem, both in terms of the Aqua Collection as well as the products that I have previously used, I don’t have a single bad word to say about the brand. These products have continued to impress, showcasing Introstem’s dedication to producing skincare formulas that provide tangible results.
While the Aqua Collection has a number of merits, so do the brand’s other skincare lines. My advice would be to browse the Introstem online store and pick out a few formulas that are suited to your skin type, even if they each come from different collections.
